Help guide

Set up live streaming

Connect your phone to stream your team's games. One tap sets up the camera and your sponsor overlay together — no settings to copy by hand.

When to use this guide

Do this once, before your first game, on the phone you'll film with. You won't need to repeat it each game.

Steps

  1. 1On your computer or phone, open Streaming setup from the dashboard.
  2. 2Step 1: install the free Larix Broadcaster app on the phone you'll stream with (App Store or Google Play).
  3. 3Step 2: on that phone, tap Open in Larix — or scan the QR code with the phone's camera.
  4. 4Larix opens and configures the connection and your sponsor overlay automatically.
  5. 5Step 3: at game time, open Larix and hit record. You're live.

What the one-tap link does

The setup link tells Larix exactly where to send your video and adds your sponsor bar on top. You never see or type a stream key. Scanning the QR is easiest when you're viewing the setup page on a computer and scanning with the streaming phone.

Your sponsors are automatic

Once you're live, your active sponsors appear as an on-screen bar, and that branding travels into every clip and download — no extra steps. Set your sponsors up first so they're ready to show (see Set up your sponsors).

Good habits

  • Do this setup a day early, not five minutes before kickoff.
  • Use the same phone each time so it stays configured.
  • Do a 30-second test recording once to confirm the stream shows on the game page.

Common mistakes

  • Installing Larix but forgetting to tap Open in Larix to configure it.
  • Setting it up on one phone and streaming from another.
  • Waiting until game day to install the app.
