Help guide
Create and share clips
Turn a great moment into a short, shareable video — with your sponsors already on it — in a tap.
When to use this guide
Use this after a game to pull out highlights worth sharing.
Steps
- 1Open the game in your Replay library.
- 2In the Clips section, add a short title such as "Goal," "Big save," or "Final celebration."
- 3Set the start time and how long the clip should run.
- 4Open the clip and tap Generate clip.
- 5Shori cuts the clip from the game and marks it ready — your sponsor bar is already on it.
- 6Copy the public clip link and share it.
Why clips are easy on Shori
Because your sponsors are burned into the video during the stream, every clip carries them automatically — you don't add logos or edit anything. For a game you streamed through Shori, generating a clip is a single tap on the clip's page; there's no separate editor to open. (If you only added a YouTube replay link instead of streaming through Shori, you'll use YouTube's clip tool from the same page.)
Keep clips short
- Aim for the single moment — a goal, a save, a celebration.
- Shorter clips share better and load faster for families.
- You can make as many clips from one game as you like.
Common mistakes
- Trying to make a clip before the game recording has finished processing — wait a minute after the stream ends.
- Setting a start time that misses the moment — give it a couple seconds of lead-in.
- Expecting a full video editor — clips are meant to be quick and shareable.
